Awards and More Awards

I am proud to announce that IRON CHAMBER OF MEMORY won the Bronze for the CLFA 2017 Book of the Year.

I must confess I wonder why a story of mine which glamorizes a mystical monarchic government under King Arthur, won a Libertarian award, but my magnum opus glamorizing a futuristic Libertarian near-utopia, THE GOLDEN AGE, lost a libertarian award to Tolkien’s Trilogy, a story which glamorizes a mystical monarchic government under King Aragorn.

Also, the Hugo Award finalists have been announced:

I have work up for an award for Best Short Story. (I am apparently the diversity vote this year, as the sole white male in the category.)

I understand that under the new voting rules, rather than voting for the most well written story, the award will go to the author who weighs the most on land. I am happy for this, because my qualification in that area is ponderous and immense.
