Crybullies
The following clip is a fascinating case study in the psychology of political correctness.
Please note that while Michael Knowles is in the act of describing the privileges awarded those who allege victimhood, and the victimization of those alleged to have privileges, in the very moment when those who allege themselves his victims exercise their privilege of heckling and silencing him, culminating in a physical assault.
The school administration, of course, are the ones who allow if not encourage this, and the professors who teach this. No honest father and mother would cultivate such behavior in their children.
By custom, then, it is Mr. Knowles who does not have the right to free speech, because the privilege awarded the Woke to heckle and silence him is awarded by the Woke and compliant administration.
When the assailant, who, let it be noted, is assailing an innocent victim, is restrained by the security guard, the lunatics begin chanting “Hands up! Don’t shoot!” as if the guard, by attempting to keep the peace, were the assailant, and the assailant were an innocent victim.
A barbarian, as a wise man once said, is one who laughs when he hurts you, but screams and weeps when you hurt him.
Be it noted that this activity is more shameful than mere barbarism would be: the barbarian is honest enough not to pretend that empathic compassion for the weak is his motive. The barbarian does not crave victimhood. The barbarian does not pretend to be the weak victim when he is using his position of strength to inflict harm on those he thinks will not strike back.
Also be it noted that the phrase “Hands up! Don’t shoot!” is a lie and is based on a lie.
It is a lie told by an alleged eyewitness to a police shooting of a violent criminal during an altercation, when a thug who had just robbed a store, when detained by an officer, assaulted the officer, reaching into his car window to grab for his gun. Later investigation confirmed that the detention was lawful. It was a good shoot. (So far as I can recall, not a single case promoted by the Press as an example of racist police brutality has turned out to be one.)
It is based on the lie that the skin color of the criminal, and not his criminal behavior, triggered the stop, or that is was his skin color, and not his violent assault, that triggered the shooting. This led to riots and arson from which the community still has not recovered, and all these lies were spread by the news, operating in lockstep, to promote a political falsehood, pretending the least racist nation of all history is racist.
And “Hands up! Don’t shoot!” is the same psychology in action, that is, committing a crime while claiming attempts to halt the crime are the crime.
For the record, throwing paint or other goo on someone absent his consent is indeed an assault, a breach of the public peace, and grounds for civil lawsuit as well as criminal charges.
In medieval Japan, or so I am told, a member of the samurai class had the right to slay any peasant or untouchable for any reason or no reason, even if it were only to test the edge of his blades. This privilege is not recognized at Common Law.
It is, however, recognized by Saul Alinsky, in his book RULES FOR RADICALS, which he dedicated to the Devil. It is the tactic of accusing your opposition of the very crimes you yourself are committing, so as to waste his time defending himself, and confusing onlookers into thinking both sides are guilty.
Hypocrisy is not a side effect of this tactic, nor of this philosophy. Hypocrisy is the point. Unreason is the point.
Aslan has removed the gift of speech from the Woke; and so they bray and roar and hoot all the louder.
The evil, however, in one real sense is powerless, because it is always powerless. The shadow can mock the shape of the solids, but cannot be solid. The evil that seeks to destroy reality can only destroy itself. Using words to destroy meaning leads to muteness, but the word remains untouched. Using reason to destroy reason does not harm reason, but opens the door to lunacy.
These schools operate on borrowed time, under false pretenses, and using up the good will accumulated by prior generations of scholastics, who taught, rather than brainwashed, the young.
Indeed, these are seminaries of a Hegelian death-cult, an offshoot of the Marxist heresy, rather than schools.
Trump famously said that they do not hate him, they hate you, and he is merely standing in the way.
I say that they do not hate you, they hate Christ, and you are His image and likeness. They cannot harm Christ, so they smite Christians instead.
And let us, by all means, recall the words of the Psalmist.
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
