Note that Lady Vesta is not counted as one of the Twelve, even though she has a wordlet as her own domain, whereas Brother Beast is so counted, even though he does not.
Princes Consort:
Nephelethea Cimon, Lady of Venus, married Anchises Cimon, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderberg-Plon-Rethwisch. He was assassinated.
Marina Savage, Lady of Vesta, married Hunter Savage, a Neolithic from Antarctica.
Zoë Romanov , Lady of Ceres, married Dimitri Romanovich Romanov the Czar of all the Russias.
Queens Mother:
Lord Terra, in defiance of custom and Canon Law, married five wives, granting him political title to the areas undecimated during and after the Final Wars of the Twenty Third Century.
- Xianxiang is closest genetic match for the last daughter of the Manchus of the Great Ming Middle Kingdom.
- Aquarine is the first Atlantean queen.
- Isabella is Her Most Royal Catholic Majesty of the Holy Roman Empire of Brazil.
- Rani of Greater Tibet, also called the Celestial Sino-British Empire of Tibet, India, Egypt, and Azania. She is a psychic, a Daayani.
- Filchingmort is President, sole Senator, Representative, Justice, and Godmother of of the Gangland Military Democracy of the Tribal Nations of America. The name is actually a title: it is thieve’s cant for she-thief. Her real name is Magaskauee Coyatl Capone.
Most of the children of the Lords of Creation own their own moons. Confusingly, the children of rule moons are largely named after wives or Shakespeare characters.
All the children are styled ‘lords’ or ‘ladies’ even though only pantropy and terraforming are known to them, or paedonimation, the creation of servant-minds. Female names are italicized.
- Jupiter has 67 children with moons (including Lady Luna) including his daughters Ladies Callisto, Io, Europa and his son Lord Ganymede.
- Saturn has 53 including Janus, Mimas, Encledes, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, Iapetus, Phoebe, Titan
- Uranus has 27 including Oberon, Titania, Puck, Ariel, Umbriel, Belinda, Miranda, Caliban, Sycorax, Prospero, Setebos, Stephano, Trinculo, Francisco, Ferdinand, Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Mab, Portia, Rosalind, Margaret, Perdita, Cupid.
- Neptune has 13 including Nereid (Wife), and Triton, Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Galatea, Larissa, Halimede, Sao, Loamedeia, Psamathe,
Neso and Proteus. Galatea is an artificial being. - Pluto has 4 including Styx, Nix, Kerberos, Hydra. His dead wife Cora, daughter of Ceres, was Lady Charon.
- Mars has 2 sons, Phobos and Deimos
- Earth (Brother beast has no children). Lady Luna is Jupiter’s daughter by Clio.
- Venus has no moons, but her daughters are Beroe, Harmonia, Peitho, Rhodos, her sons (not counting Phobos and Deimos) are Anteros, Eros, Himera, Iacchus, Pothos, Lyros, Herophilos, Eryx, Astynoos, and her youngest is Aeneas. Hermaphroditus is neither daughter nor son, but both.
- Mercury has no moons. The only son mentioned in the text is Autolycos. Hermaphroditus is neither daughter nor son, but both.
