The American you know and love, and everything you love, is on the brink of being “Cultural Revolutioned” away, ChiCom style.
A historic Memphis, Tennessee, theater, which has shown “Gone With the Wind” screenings for 34 years, has decided to remove the classic film from its schedule due to its racially “insensitive” content.
The move comes after violence erupted at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, earlier this month. The president of the Orpheum Theatre said the decision to remove the 1939 film was not directly related to the recent headlines.
“The Orpheum appreciates feedback on its programming from all members of the mid-south community,” Orpheum president Bret Batterson said in a statement to Vulture. “As an organization whose stated mission is to ‘entertain, educate and enlighten the communities it serves,’ the Orpheum cannot show a film that is insensitive to a large segment of its local population.”
This follows upon the television show DUKES OF HAZARD being pulled from the small screen, because the supercar used by the Duke boys has the star-and-bars emblazed on the roof.
And the iconoclasts are pulling Confederate statues, each one raised by Democrats to Democrat heroes, and will soon move onto Founding Fathers, whom they also despise.
The Progressives hate the past in a fashion no sane man can understand. They way we feel about Nazis and Communists and other evil people who do evil deeds, they feel about facts that happened in the past. They cannot destroy the past directly, but they can stuff it down the memory hole.
All hail Big Brother! War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength.
Ingsoc is here. The first shots have already been fired. The race riots will continue and grow worse, as the Progressives, fearing for the first time in their history that their grip on power is weakening, would far rather see you and themselves dead than you happy and themselves no longer able to control and loot your life and your life’s work. They will burn the cities before they let the Blacks off welfare, or allow them off the Democrat vote plantation. They will shoot border patrol officers and dynamite the wall rather than see the flood of illegals, jihadists and all, slowed and stopped.
This is their life, their identity, their hold on power, and the thing they have instead of religious faith. They are willing to fight to the last ditch and last bullet for tyranny.
