Not Tired of Winning Yet CC

I am not tired of wining, but, dang, am I having trouble keeping pace.

The CDC’s Chief Information Officer Jason Bonander sent this message to employees: “Pronouns and any other information not permitted in the policy must be removed from CDC/ATSDR employee signatures by 5.p.m. ET on Friday,” he said. “Staff are being asked to alter signature blocks by 5.p.m. ET today (Friday, January 31, 2025) to follow the revised policy.”

This follows in the same spirit as the historical Executive Order from Liberation Day, Jan 20

The document reads, in part:

Efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being.  The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system.

It goes on to restore the normal definitions of male and female, boy and girl, and directs all Federal paperwork to reflect the same.

Each agency and all Federal employees shall enforce laws governing sex-based rights, protections, opportunities, and accommodations to protect men and women as biologically distinct sexes.

When administering or enforcing sex-based distinctions, every agency and all Federal employees acting in an official capacity on behalf of their agency shall use the term “sex” and not “gender” in all applicable Federal policies and documents. [Emphasis mine]

Government-issued identification documents, including passports, visas, and Global Entry cards, [shall] accurately reflect the holder’s sex.

… Applicable personnel records [shall] accurately report Federal employees’ sex …

Agencies shall remove all statements, policies, regulations, forms, communications, or other internal and external messages that promote or otherwise inculcate gender ideology, and shall cease issuing such statements, policies, regulations, forms, communications or other messages.

The document goes on to forbid men in woman’s bathrooms and locker rooms, nor men in woman’s prisons, rape shelters, and so on.  Federal funds shall not be used to promote gender ideology.

My comment:

I am particularly and personally pleased to see pronouns return to English use.

Each time I see he, his/she, her/they, them/xe, xer in the signature line of a letter, a spasm of disgust stronger than hate rakes through me.

The duty to be fruitful and multiply is sacrosanct,  ordained by nature and nature’s God, hence sexual deviation is illogical and immortal and ugly, equally offending truth, virtue and beauty. Sexual deviants themselves might merit our pity, or psychiatric therapy, or punishment sufficient to deter them from temptation in public. But to normalize, or to laud, or to esteem sexual deviation as proper or proud or brave, or to encourage such sick and sterile practices in the unwary to ruin their lives, merits righteous wrath as fierce as fire from heaven.
