In a Rose Garden address on Thursday, Donald Trump announced his intention to withdraw from the Paris climate accord.
Ex-Imperator Earflap Obama I, speaking from his golden throne of Cloudcuckooland, uttered some windy blither of platitudes, including the elliptical and lunatic accusation that “ this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future… ”
Well, Orwell’s NINETEEN EIGHTY FOUR is no longer our future. When Lincoln Steffens praised Stalin’s Russia by saying “I have seen the future, and it works” he managed to tell three lies in eight words. And his future is no longer our future either, Earflap.
You would think these zealous futurians would find some new buzzwords and catchphrases to discuss the future. The future they are imagining, along with Ralph Bellamy, is the year 2000 as seen from 1887. They have not updated their ideas since the Queen Victoria’s day. Progressivism is 130 years past its sell-by date.
The Paris Accord, when analyzed to its root, allows unelected foreign bureaucrats to dictate the energy use of American industries, but not those of India or China.
The headlines should read ‘America Declines to Shoot Herself in the Head to Save the Unicorns.’
Since the alleged Global Warming could, if it were real, be solved by deforestation, orbital heat shields, sequestration of CO2, ocean fertilization, or engineered weathering, and since no one on the world stage even mentions these solutions even to dismiss them, we can know that the Green scaremongers have no intention of solving any crisis.
Crisis, eternal crisis, is their food and drink, their nectar and ambrosia. It is what keeps them alive and makes them immortal.
The purpose of the Paris Accord was to cripple the United States and support China. Because that is the only effect it would have had.
The people who say that the enforcement of the Paris Accords would have any measurable effects on the climate are not scientifically trained, or simply not being honest. This is magical thinking.
The freakish cultists who think there is some cause and effect link between the Paris Accords and the anger of Mother Gaia at the progress, liberty, and capitalism of Christendom should be institutionalized. If pyschotherapy does not cure them, try exorcism.
And even if one is a convinced True Believer in whatever Greeny garbage the Professional Lying Class of media and politicos are generating is true, joining an accord where one nation abides by the restrictions and another does not will not accomplish anything.
I cannot read minds, but I can assume that when a man steadfastly, and without change of expression, goes from saying that the coming Ice Age can only be stopped by curtailing capitalism, to saying the coming Global Heat Stroke can only be saved by curtailing capitalism, it is not a leap of faith to conclude that curtailing capitalism is his goal. Or does no one remember what the fashionable cry among the ecomarxists was during the 1970s?
These are the same people who preached that contraception was needed to avoid a SOYLENT GREEN scenario of disastrous overpopulation, predicting mass starvation in the 1980s for India, even though what actually is happening in Europe, Russia, and Japan is disastrous underpopulation, while India became the eighth largest exporter of agroculture in the world.
Another joyous day! Congratulations to the Coal Miners! Trump is saving your jobs.
Mule brays and Bronx cheers to the Greens! Your sobs are music to any honest ears. Weep and gnash your teeth, all you Chicken Littles and Heartless Hoaxsters.
You have had decades of chances to tell the truth about any of your eco-frauds and you spurned them. Not one had proved true. Not one.
A partial list? Aside from the Nuclear Winter scare and the Coming Ice Age scare?
The Greens were wrong about the DDT scare, the ALAR scare, the radon scare, the mercury in the fish scare, the acid rain scare, the hole in the ozone layer scare, the power cables or mobile phone towers causing cancer scare, the chloroflourocarbons scare, the overpopulation scare, the salmonella scare, the Mad Cow disease scare, and so on.
And since the Global Warming has been shown to be based on computer models that, when compared against real world data, are wrong; and since the Polar Bear population is growing, the sea levels are not rising, and the ice cap is growing, not melting, at this point the scaremongering is beyond parody.
So far in my life, not a single one, not a single one, of these highly publicized and endlessly flouted frauds was ever repudiated by the true believers, even long after the scientific evidence was in.
I have challenged Leftists more than once to cite the case where they backtracked or admitted wrong on any of these scares. Once or twice, one has tried to brave it out, and say that the threat is still looming. More often they pretend they never heard of the scare, and suddenly all their fingers break and both eyes fall out, so they cannot look up the reference on the Internet, and so they change the subject, and tell me I am a bad person. So, point made.
It is lunacy on par with ‘chemtrails’ or people who think the moonlanding was fake. And yet all faithful Democrats (and any gullible Republican who takes not the time nor has the scientific training to look into it) to this day, believes in all these bugaboos and croquemitaines.
Not today, Greens. Your lies are dying in your teeth.
