Not Tired of Winning Yet LXIV
I realize that, technically, this column is one and the same with my previous column on the same topic, but this amount of winful winning is so winsome, so lie-winnowing, so victory-windrowing, so whin-like and so very wintastically winnilicious, that it was worth saying twice, and worth coining silly neologisms in the process.
With respect to the Russia Collusion Hoax, let us all recall the magnitude involved:
The alleged conspiracy was investigated for 675 days by special counsel Robert Mueller and a team of 19 lawyers, and 40 FBI agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants and other staff.
The investigation included 2,800 subpoenas (an average of at least four per day) and 500 witness interviews, not to mention requests for information from 13 foreign governments.
Total price tag to the taxpayers: $25 million
For purposes of comparison, that is enough jack to buy a mansion or to hire an arms manufacturer to build an antiaircraft directed energy weapon system.
What was the finding?
“the Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election.” (From the Attorney General.
Or, in the words of 70s Rock legend and keyboard-wizard Billy Preston:

And how did our admired, honest and objective investigative news media, speaking truth to power, conduct themselves?
ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts produced a combined 2,284 minutes of ‘collusion’ coverage … That’s an average of roughly three minutes a night, every night, for an astonishing 791 days. (From Newsbusters.)
The coverage was monstrously lopsided: From January 1 through March 21 of this year, the spin of Trump coverage on the evening newscasts has been 92% negative vs. just eight percent positive.
And the results?
34 people were indicted as a result of Mueller’s investigation, including Russian nationals for whom the indictment is purely symbolic.
The rest are persons either railroaded for process violations (that is, found lying to investigators even though there was nothing to investigate) or for utterly unrelated violations (bank fraud or tax evasion) taking place outside the time frame of the Trump candidacy, or before the person ever met Trump, which, technically, had the special counsel mandate been drawn up in a constitutional and proper fashion, would have been outside the scope of the investigation.
CNN ratings have plummeted in the wake of the revelation that their confident assurance that the sitting president was a traitor and a Russian secret agent was and always has been a fraud: When compared to this same week last year, CNN lost -16 percent of its primetime viewers and -17 of total day viewers. For the viewers in the coveted 25-54 age demo, CNN lost an incredible -31 percent of its primetime viewers and -29 of total day viewers.
MSNBC held its losses to single digits: -8 percent of its primetime viewers and -6 of total day viewers.
Fox News, meanwhile, in the same period, lost no one (+1 for primetime, -1 for total day viewers).
Here are the raw numbers. In sum, for all primetime cable, Fox News hit number one, MSNBC number three (ESPN was number two), and CNN in last place, at eleven.
The number of criminal and civil violations involved are astonishing: from FBI and DOJ agents violating the espionage act by leaking classified material to the press, to perjury by using their own planted stories as evidence of wrongdoing for a FISA warrant, to using opposition research paid for by the Clintons to wiretap a political rival, and then a sitting president, to various abuses of process and corrupt racketeeting acts, to the defamation maliciously spread by the press, not to mention the treason involved in attempting a silent coup, to unseat the voter’s choice for the highest office in the land.
And now what are the lying buckets of swill reduced to?
Complaining that the secret parts of the Mueller investigation, which the law shields from public view in order to protect the innocent, are secret.
Let us rejoice, but let us not forget our anger.
Forgiveness is a virtue, but it follows repentance. When the traitors are on the scaffold, confessed all wrongdoing, and show true contrition, we should be happy to grant our forgiveness just before the headsman’s axe smites, and pray their souls find heaven.
This was not a small crime, nor was it victimless. It was two years of hate hoax. Two years of Jussie Smollett. It was Tawana Brawley, but with the FBI in the place of Al Sharpton. It was Watergate, but with the DOJ in the place of G. Gordon Liddy. It was the Covington Boys being libelled and slandered, but costing you, the taxpayer, 25 million dollars.
The Dems were willing to spend $25 million dollars of your money on this. For Planned Parenthood to commit mass-infanticide and harvest the organs of wee little babies, the Dems spent roughly forty times that amount of your money in the same period. How much did they spend on border security?
No one has apologized for this travesty, and no one has been fined or jailed or even fired. For that matter, no one has even stopped lying.
Remember this day. Demand an accounting. Remember that these weasels and crooks and traitors knew all along that everything they said was a lie.
Everything was a lie.
So please rejoice, but please stay angry.
