The Mountains Sway
Modern society faces seven mountains of madness, that is, seven institutional strongholds, captured by the enemy, that command the culture and war against it:
- The Press and Hollywood
- Washington and Wall Street
- Academia, The Chattering Class, The Church
While the Church is not entirely captured, the number of priestesses, pro-abortion, pro-sodomite and pro-contraception denominations, bishops, and orders who have fallen away from Christian teaching is severe and severely scandalous.
With the election of Trump, the centermost of the mountains of madness, the stronghold of politics, takes a sharp and shocking blow.
But before he even takes office, we are seeing unexpected side effects and ramifications of the public rejection of Wokeness.
The Press have lost prestige as never before, and are losing funds. Already major publications are firing employees: there is talk of Jack Posobiec buying MSNBC or Joy Reid being fired.
Among the Chattering Class, leftwing influencers and YouTubers are bleeding subscriptions. The Young Turks no longer has Anna Kasparian willing to parrot whatever the daily talking points issued from the Ministry of Truth happen to be.
At the same time, in the Entertainment Industry, rumors spread that too many companies having gone broke from going Woke will surrender their loyalty to the deranged deathcult of Wokeness, and return to story-telling. Even Disney, the most corrupt of the perverse corrupters, may be pausing to reassess its adversarial relationship to its fanbase.
Signs of the Deep State plotting treason or funding riots are not signals of a coming Civil War, but the last spasms of a wounded beast preparing to surrender.
In times past, the Enemy always kept motives and goals hidden, and played the Long Game of slow infiltration and corruption. Matters are meant to come into the open, in violent revolution, only when all public institutions have been corrupted and crippled: and that season, while dangerously nigh at hand in America, is not yet here. Any open violence of a new Civil War, at this moment, would lead only to the rapid defeat of the party with fewer guns and smaller numbers.
A small cadre cannot take over a nation unless the vast majority of the people are demoralized, disheartened, and defeated beforehand, which is not the case in America.
One of the seven mountains of madness has been toppled, and its forces are momentarily in disarray. How they will regather for the counterattack has yet to be seen.
But the unexpected blessing is that the neighboring mountains, the institutions of press and entertainment, are more incestuously intertwined and interdependent than could be foreseen.
They leaned on each other, as well as on a manufactured illusion of consensus and common consent.
A mountain falls. The neighboring mountains sway.
